Mobility allows us to move easily through our daily activities. This goes hand-in-hand with agility which will prepare us to make (and stop) those moves quickly while maintaining control.
Balance plays a part in every aspect of our health; from keeping us from falling (even from a chair) to understanding the relationship between movement, food, and rest. Where focus goes, energy flows! Focusing on all of the pillars will expand our performance in every aspect of life.

I am Tony Jacobsen and I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bones). Now I’m a personal trainer for people who have disabilities and other mobility and functional issues. It’s my specialty because I’ve been there and I’m passionate about helping people break free as I did. It wasn’t easy, but now I embrace all I am and live a healthy lifestyle.
I’ve experienced 70+ fractures, 12 surgeries, 4 steel rods, and countless physical and mental setbacks. I used a wheelchair and crutches throughout my childhood and young adult life and didn’t start walking on my own until I was 24. Even though I was free physically, I was mentally and emotionally stuck so I did everything I could to avoid exercise and being physical. Overpowered by anxiety, I was afraid of breaking my bones. Then, as if breaking my bones wasn’t terrifying enough, I faced the scare of my life. At age 40, I underwent an EKG and was told I had a small heart attack! Turns out, I was in the worst shape of my life.
Shocked, sad, and depressed, it was time to stop letting my disability disable me. I pushed myself both physically and mentally like never before and within 8 months, I had dropped 40 lbs, gained more energy than I had in my 20’s, and started doing things physically I never imagined possible. I ran and jumped for the first time in my life! All at the ripe young age of 42.
Ever since my transformation, it’s been my mission to help others do the same because I really do know what’s possible. I wrote a book about my journey, ‘Disable Your Disability: Live the Healthy Life You Deserve!’ and started the #UNBREAKABLE movement for others, who like me, realize a change needs to be made and want to experience more out of life. I studied and earned my certification as a personal trainer from NASM.
